Regards sur la Chine dans La Chine ouverte de Paul-Émile Daurand Forgues
Abstract
La Chine ouverte est un roman de Paul-Émile Daurand Forgues, présenté sous la forme d’un récit de voyage imaginaire. À travers les yeux de Murphy Dermot, un médecin anglais fictif, l’auteur mêle faits historiques et éléments fictifs pour dépeindre la Chine des années 1830 et de la période de la guerre de l’opium. Cette œuvre se distingue par sa combinaison de texte et d’illustrations. L’auteur présente de manière assez complète et détaillée la société et la culture chinoises. Il loue et critique divers aspects de la Chine tout en évitant les préjugés occidentaux courants de l’époque. Cela en fait une œuvre importante pour l’étude des échanges culturels entre la Chine et l’Occident, avec une grande valeur littéraire, documentaire et esthétique.

Reminder
How to do online submission to another Journal?
If you have already registered in Journal A, then how can you submit another article to Journal B? It takes two steps to make it happen:
1. Register yourself in Journal B as an Author
Find the journal you want to submit to in CATEGORIES, click on “VIEW JOURNAL”, “Online Submissions”, “GO TO LOGIN” and “Edit My Profile”. Check “Author” on the “Edit Profile” page, then “Save”.
2. Submission
Go to “User Home”, and click on “Author” under the name of Journal B. You may start a New Submission by clicking on “CLICK HERE”.
