In this study, by analyzing the image and properties of the hyperbolic paraboloid, the related geometric properties are listed. Its ruled surface nature was proved by constructing a straight generatrix on the curved surface, and the related theorem of straight generatrix was obtained. Due to the advantages of ruled surface nature, the hyperbolic paraboloid has a wide range of applications in daily life, including construction, machinery, and water conservancy, etc.
2020-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2021 Management Science and Engineeringhttp://cscanada.net/index.php/mse/article/view/12136Application of Ordinary Differential Equation in Practice2021-05-11T11:56:53+00:00Guoxiang GUI13576956001@qq.comShuilian YANG13576956001@qq.com
Among relationships between variables reflecting movement process in natural, there are many mathematical models that satisfy ordinary differential equation (ODE). Generally, as an important tool for solving many problems in practice, ODE is used to understand property of an unknown function. This paper describes four practical cases that apply ODE, i.e. identification of death time in criminal investigation; Malthusian population model; archaeology of Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tomb in Changsha (Hunan Province); and authentication of oil painting, etc.
2020-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2021 Management Science and Engineeringhttp://cscanada.net/index.php/mse/article/view/11806The Status of Practicing COVID-19 Prevention Measures Among a Sample of Persons With Disabilities in Jordan2021-05-11T11:56:53+00:00Ibrahim El-Zraigatibrahim_zraigat@hotmail.com
The main aim of present study was to examine practicing COVID-19 prevention measures among persons with disabilities in Jordan. The sample of study consisted of 101 from various disabilities and ages. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher constructed and designed the study tool which contained 36 items (practices) were distributed into 3 dimensions as follows: outside home measures, inside home measures, and personal daily health practices. The validity and reliability of the scale have been verified. The results indicated that the vast majority of participants were practicing preventive measures in a moderate ratio and a small number of their practices were low. The study recommended the necessity of following the COVID-19 prevention instructions to prevent the spread of the virus and avoid infection.
2020-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2021 Management Science and Engineeringhttp://cscanada.net/index.php/mse/article/view/12138Study on the Value Evaluation of Intellectual Property Pledge Financing2021-05-11T11:56:54+00:00Bo FENG313472714@qq.comXuan YING313472714@qq.comJunwen FENG313472714@qq.com
As an intangible asset, intellectual property can not only improve the asset value of the company, but also obtain financing through pledge. Especially for some small and medium-sized technology-based companies in China, intellectual property financing has become one of their important ways. However, at present, there are still some problems in the value evaluation of intellectual property pledge financing, such as the uncertainty of intellectual property rights, the lack of a unified evaluation system, the lack of relevant laws and regulations, etc., which have caused certain difficulties to the value evaluation of intellectual property rights. At present, the income method is mainly used in the value evaluation of intellectual property pledge financing in China. Taking Hangzhou Xiye Technology Co., Ltd. as an example, this paper studies the applicability of this value evaluation method, points out relevant problems, and puts forward relevant suggestions, so as to improve the value evaluation level of intellectual property pledge financing in China.
2020-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2021 Management Science and Engineeringhttp://cscanada.net/index.php/mse/article/view/11921The Difference of Between Event Marketing and Activity Marketing2021-05-11T11:56:55+00:00Yan CUI2995331317@qq.comYinhe CUI2995331317@qq.comIn the modern commodity economy society, Event marketing and Activity marketing have long been regarded as golden opportunities in marketing management by companies, therefore a large number of enterprises have fit them into the system of marketing strategy. But in recent years, scholars and companies simply confuse these two concepts with each other. They hold the opinion that event marketing is activity marketing and vice versa, besides the way to call them, no essential difference lying in. It’s hardly realized that the opinion stated above mixed the attributes of these two. This concept is not only unfavourable to the realization of intended marketing goals, but also go ill with the control of different business opportunities in Event marketing and Activity marketing.2020-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2021 Management Science and Engineeringhttp://cscanada.net/index.php/mse/article/view/11920Various Bayesian Classifiers and Their Application Fields2021-05-11T11:56:55+00:00Xiaodan DOUpaper__submission@163.com
The background and basic principle of Bayesian classification algorithm are briefly introduced at first, following with some different kinds of Bayesian classifiers and their application fields or scopes. Due to its simple calculation, high accuracy and high efficiency, Bayesian classification has been applied in variety of fields to replace manual or other methods. Through literature research, several typical examples are found and listed, including the usage of various classifiers in economics, finance, medicine, agriculture and so on. Meanwhile, the classification effect and future development of Bayes are also analyzed.
2020-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2021 Management Science and Engineeringhttp://cscanada.net/index.php/mse/article/view/12137Effects of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Intention2021-05-11T11:56:56+00:00Idris Adegboyega Onikoyidr.adegboyega@gmail.comJames A. Odumerudr.adegboyega@gmail.com
Entrepreneurship education is believed to be of great importance to the quest for improved youth employment and economic development of any society. It is for this reason that the Nigerian government invests heavily in entrepreneurship education. However, in spite of these heavy investments, youth unemployment is on the increase and economic development continues to elude Nigeria. This study investigates the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial motivation and intention among final year students of Nigeria. We adopted the Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke as a case study where data was collected using structured questionnaire from 550 responded selected using random sampling. Data was analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The study discovered that entrepreneurship education significantly determine entrepreneurial motivation which also significantly affects entrepreneurial intention. The study also found that the entrepreneurship education – entrepreneurial motivation relationship is significantly mediated by cognitive factors. To this end, this research effort recommends that the government and other relevant stakeholders should continue to provide quality entrepreneurship education to continue to motivate graduates of tertiary institutions to become entrepreneurs.
2020-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2021 Management Science and Engineering
